I am a published writer with a background in news research, film, design and art history. I am qualified in various areas including massage therapy, photography and foreign languages. I have a wide range of interests too: history, art, film, photography, music, poetry, books, dance, travel, food, crafts and being miserly. I also like to write poetry, make photography, go to the cinema, museums and galleries, travel, tap dance, swing dance and salsa.

I have just returned to the UK after a couple of years working on cruise ships and I'm back to blow the cobwebs off my hubpages and get going again.
